Lansdowne (TTC)

Lansdowne is an underground subway station in Toronto. It lies on the Bloor- Danforth line of the Toronto Subway at the intersection of Bloor Street and Lansdowne Avenue. The station has side platforms, is used daily by an average of 16,490 passengers (2009 /10).

Nearby is the shopping and arts district, Bloordale Village. It offers connecting flights to two bus lines. The opening of the station took place on 26 February 1966 in conjunction with the section Keele - Woodbine. Due to the prevailing around petty crime, the newspaper Toronto Star called the Lansdowne station as a " known problem area ".
