Dušan Lajović

Dušan Lajovic ( Serbian Cyrillic Душан Лајовић; * June 30, 1990 in Belgrade, SR Serbia) is a Serbian tennis player.

Career

Lajovic could achieve far more success in his young career. Both the single and in the double he already won several Futures tournaments vorspülten him in the rankings a few places. On the Challenger Tour he won in August 2012, his first title at the tournament of Samarkand which he once again was able to make up some places in the world rankings, and advanced to position 137. Also on the ATP World Tour, he won great respect. In 2011, he failed to qualify for the main fields in Zagreb, Moscow and Umag, in Belgrade, he received a wild card. However, he always different from in the first round. In St. Petersburg, he qualified as well, but survived this time the first round. He had already led in the third set against Matteo Viola 5-0, 40:0, but failed to score a total of nine match points and lost the set and thus the match even with 6:8 against the eventual qualifiers.

In 2012, he was first nominated for the Serbian Davis Cup team. In the first round against Sweden, he gave after Serbia already had a decisive lead, in the final match against Filip Prpic his debut. He won in straight sets 6-4, 6-4.
