Dustin Wood

Dustin Wood (born 21 May 1981 in Scarborough, Ontario ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is under contract with HC České Budějovice in the Czech Extraliga since June 2011.

Career

The 1.83 m wide left-back began his career with the Peterborough Petes in the Ontario Canadian Hockey League, for whom he played until 2002. The first professional station after the Junior League were the Trenton Titans of the East Coast Hockey League, for the links Sagittarius in his debut season, advanced to the point best defensive player. After various stations in the American Hockey League Wood came to the 2007/08 season to Germany for ERC Ingolstadt.

In the 2008 / 09 season, Wood played for the Kassel Huskies. For the following season, the Canadians moved to South Korea Anyang Halla, with whom he won the championship of the Asia League Ice Hockey 2010 and 2011. In June 2011, the defender signed on for a try-out from HC České Budějovice in the Czech Extraliga.
