Dutch royal house

Membership of the Dutch royal house ( the House of Orange -Nassau ) is regulated by the Law on membership to the royal family. The Act was amended in 2002. The royal family belong to in Article 1 of the reigning king as head of the throne claimant, unless they are further than blood relatives in the second degree under the Constitution of the Netherlands, the potential heir to the throne and the retired king.
