Dzyatlava district

The Rajon Dsjatlawa (White Russian Дзятлаўскі раён; Russian Дятловский район ) is an administrative unit in the southeastern Hrodsenskaja Woblasz in Belarus with the administrative center in the city Dsjatlawa. The Rajon has an area of 1,500 km ², comprises 223 villages and is divided into 13 Selsawets.

Geography

The Rajon Dsjatlawa located in the southeast of the Hrodsenskaja Woblasz. The Nachbarrajone in Hrodsenskaja Woblasz are in the northeast Nawahrudak, in the south of Slonim, southwest Selwa, in the west Masty and Schtschutschyn and to the northwest Lida.

The largest rivers are Shchara and Moutschads.

History

The Rajon Dsjatlawa was formed in its current boundaries on 15 January 1940.
