Ébersviller ( German: Ebersweiler ) is a commune with 889 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Moselle in the Lorraine region.

Geography

The place is located in the north of Lorraine, seven kilometers west of Bouzonville and ten kilometers from the German - French border.

History

The town was first mentioned as 960 Everonisvilla. Other names were Ebersweiller (1755 ) and Ebersweiler (1793).
