Ed Moses (swimmer)

Ed Moses ( born June 7, 1980 in Loma Linda, California) is an American breaststroke in the Sydney Olympic and Olympic silver medalist was at the Summer Olympic Games in 2000.

Career

On the way to the Olympic Games in 2000 Moses submitted to the Olympic trials on a new U.S. record. At the NCAA Championships in 2000 he swam on the short track for the University of Virginia and won the 100 and 200 m breaststroke competitions each in world record time. In 2005 he graduated at the University of Virginia in sports medicine. In addition, he was a voluntary assistant coach at the University already during his studies.

On 23 January 2002 he improved in Stockholm his short course world records over the 100 and 200m breaststroke distance and also set a new record in the 50m breast. In January 2004 in Berlin succeeded Moses again to improve his own world record in the 200 m breaststroke. Also on the long course succeeded Ed Moses on the 50 and 100 m breaststroke route set up world records, namely, 2001 in Austin.
