Eddy Ferhi

Eddy Ferhi (* November 26, 1979 in Charenton- le -Pont ) is a French professional ice hockey goaltender who stands since 2011 in Anglet Hormadi Élite in Division 1 under contract.

Career

Eddy Ferhi began his career as a hockey player in the junior department of the traditional club Français valances. From 1999 to 2003 he studied at the Sacred Heart University, for their hockey team he played in parallel in the National Collegiate Athletic Association. Towards the end of the 2002/ 03 gave the goalkeeper made ​​his debut in professional hockey for the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks of the American Hockey League. This remained his only professional use until end of season. In the following season, he ran 19 times for the Anaheim Mighty Ducks in the AHL and in three games for the San Diego Gulls of the ECHL, for a total of 30 times he stood in the 2004/05 season on the ice.

In the summer of 2005 Ferhi returned to Europe and was awarded a contract in the French Ligue Magnus in Anglet Hormadi Élite, where he sat down in France the highest ice hockey league. For France Ferhi took part in the junior level at the U18 Junior B Championship in 1997 and the U20 Junior B World Cup 1999. In the senior level, he stood in his country's squad at the 2006 World Championships and B- hockey World Championship for Men 2007, and at the A World Championships 2008, 2009 and 2010.
