History

Precious box belonged to the former Duchy of Neuburg -Sulzbach and his Court Park stone; since 1777 the area was part of the Electorate of Bavaria. Meaning of the symbols

The church motif in the coat of arms refers to the Romanesque Church of St. Joseph (12th century) in the community part Niederärndt who later served as a simultaneous church.
