Edin Salkić (2009)

Edin Salkić ( born June 16, 1989) is an Austrian footballer of Bosnian origin.

Career

Club career

Salkić began his active career as a football player in 1996 at SC Liezen in Styria. He attended Frank Stronach Academy in Hollabrunn, which he left in 2005 to move to the amateur team from Austria Wien to FK Austria Wien II in the second-class First League. For the Viennese, he came to his first professional applications, all of which were only brief appearances. His debut in the second grade, he celebrated July 15, 2005 at 1:2 away win over FC Kärnten, when he came on in the 89th minute for Hannes Toth.

In January 2007, Salkić came on loan to DSV Leoben, for he was only a three-minute short action against Kapfenberg SV until his departure in July of the same year. In the same year he came to the SV Wiener Berg, the former satellite club of Austria, who is based in the Regional League East. In the Vienna salvors Salkić completed 20 games and scored one goal. All of its operations - except for one on 17 August 2008, when he played through the entire game - were short assignments.

In August 2008, it went back to Styria, where Salkić in the previous 17 games came with the amateurs of SK Sturm Graz in the third-tier Regionalliga Mitte for use, scoring eight goals. In early January 2009, he joined the Bundesliga team of SK Sturm. There he celebrated on February 28, 2009 in the 1-3 home defeat against Kapfenberg SV his Bundesliga debut when he came on in the 81st minute for Patrick Scherrer. To date, he came in three Bundesliga games available for use.

End of July 2009 changed Salkić on loan for one year vorarlbergerischen SC Austria Lustenau. With his team debut on 31 July 2009 he succeeded after he was substituted in the 46th minute for the game Tunisians Ali Kridéne, a hit in each of the 77th and 91st minute. Thus, he was primarily responsible for the 2-1 home win over FC Lustenau Gratkorn.

For the 2010/11 season Salkić changed again on loan from Sturm Graz to steric First League club TSV Hartberg. After twelve missions and two goals, he returned in winter 2011 provisionally back to his original club Sturm Graz. After the brief return storm dissipated on the contract and Salkić moved to league rivals SC Magna Wiener Neustadt.

Since the summer of 2012, he plays for AC Floridsdorfer in the East Regional.

Internationally

Overall Salkić has already come to 22 inserts in the youth teams of the Austrian national team. He was also a participant in the U-19 European Championship in Austria in 2007.
