Edinburgh Central (Scottish Parliament constituency)
Edinburgh Central is a constituency of the Scottish Parliament. It was introduced in 1999 as one of nine constituencies of the Lothians electoral region, which was cut in the new part of the revision of constituencies in 2011 and renamed in Lothian. The constituency includes central Edinburgh Central and Western areas of Edinburgh city center. As part of the constituency revision Edinburgh Central was again cut before the 2011 general election. The constituency appoint a deputy.
