Linlithgow (Scottish Parliament constituency)

Linlithgow is a constituency of the Scottish Parliament. It was introduced in 1999 as one of nine constituencies of the Lothians electoral region, which was cut in the new part of the revision of constituencies in 2011 and renamed in Lothian. Here, the boundaries of the electoral district Linlithgow were redrawn. The constituency covers the northern areas of West Lothian Council Area and thus the cities Bathgate, Linlithgow and Whitburn. The new boundaries fall since 2011, the city Broxburn in the constituency of Linlithgow. The constituency appoint a deputy.
