Midlothian (Scottish Parliament constituency)

Midlothian was a constituency of the Scottish Parliament. He was introduced as one of nine constituencies of the Lothians electoral region in 1999. As part of the revision in 2011, the constituencies were re-cut and abolished the constituency Midlothian. The areas were largely based on the new constituencies Midlothian North and Musselburgh and Midlothian South, Tweeddale and Lauderdale. He covered the northern part of the Midlothian Council Area and sent a deputy.
