Eduard, Duke of Anhalt

Eduard Georg Wilhelm Maximilian von Anhalt ( born April 18, 1861 in Dessau, † September 13, 1918 in Berchtesgaden ) was for a few months in 1918, Duke of Anhalt.

Life

He was the son of Frederick I and 1918 for a few months, Duke of Anhalt. On February 6, 1895, he married Louise, daughter of Prince Moritz of Saxe- Altenburg. He succeeded his brother Frederick II died in April, but himself died after a short reign. Was succeeded by his underage son Joachim Ernst under the tutelage of Aribert of Anhalt.
