Eduard Lewandowski

Eduard Lewandowski (Russian Эдуард Вольдемарович Левандовский / Eduard Lewandowski Woldemarowitsch; May 3, 1980 in Krasnoturjinsk, Russian SFSR ) is a German - Russian ice hockey player who is since May 2013 in Awtomobilist Yekaterinburg in the Kontinental Hockey League contract.

Career

Eduard Lewandowski was born in the Russian Krasnoturjinsk, where he early a sport called Bandy learned, which is similar to ice hockey. At the age of 15, he moved to Germany, joined the ice hockey and his pro career with the EC Wilhelmshaven, where he was the rise of the national league was made with the team within two years into the 2nd Bundesliga began in 1997. He was selected by the Phoenix Coyotes to a total of 242 point during the NHL Entry Draft in 2003, but at first decided to remain with the sharks. Greatest success with the KEC were the runner-up in 2003 and winning the DEB Cup 2004.

For the season 2006/ 07 he moved to league rivals Adler Mannheim and promptly won the cup and the championship. In summer 2008, Lewandowski extended his contract in Mannheim, but switched to the 2008/09 season to the Russian KHL participants HK Spartak Moscow. His DEL transfer rights held by 2011 the Eagle.

In January 2010, Spartak Moscow Lewandowski gave to Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk. For Neftekhimik he completed 20 KHL games before he was hired in July of the same year Atlant Mytischtschi. In the following two years Lewandowski went for Atlant on the ice and brought it here to more than 100 missions in the main round and 36 playoff games. After his contract expires in May 2012, he moved back to Spartak Moscow. In January 2013 he was until season's end to Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk and completed 14 games for this club. Then he returned to Spartak, but was released to Awtomobilist Yekaterinburg in May 2013.

Internationally

Although Lewandowski has always belonged in his associations to the service providers and Topscorern, he could recall my performance with the national team rarely. However, he heard between 2002 and 2006 to the root cadres of DEB - selection. At the World Championships in 2002 and 2005 he took part as well as the World Cup of Hockey in 2004 and the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin.
