Edward Burns

Edward Burns ( born January 29, 1968 in New York City as Edward Fitzgerald Burns) is an American actor, film director, film producer and screenwriter.

Life and achievements

Burns comes from an Irish family, his father was a policeman. He attended Catholic Chaminade High School, he studied English at the State University of New York at Oneonta and college. After his studies he produced for about $ 30,000, the comedy The Brothers McMullen (1995 ) for which he also wrote the screenplay, the film was directed and one of the roles assumed.

In the comedy She's the One ( 1996) he became one of the main roles, he also wrote the screenplay and has directed. He joined in this film alongside Jennifer Aniston, Cameron Diaz and John Mahoney. Burns is married to Christy Turlington since 2003 and has two children.
