El Sauzal

El Sauzal is a city in the northeast of the Canary Island of Tenerife. Their population is 9076 (as of 1 January 2013).

El Sauzal is connected to Santa Cruz de Tenerife on the northern motorway TF-5. The city is located west of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and northeast of Arona. Neighboring municipalities are Tacoronte in the north and northeast, El Rosario in the east and southeast, and La Matanza de Acentejo in the south and west.

The community of El Sauzal has an area of ​​18.49 km ² at an average altitude of 360 m above sea level.
