La Guancha, Tenerife

La Guancha, located at about 500 meters altitude above the sea between Los Realejos and Icod de los Vinos, is a municipality on the island of Tenerife.

La Guancha got its name from the Spanish explorers under Alonso Fernández de Lugo, the first one Ureinwohnerin (Spanish: La Guancha ) saw draw from a source of water.
