Elia System Operator S. A. is a listed Belgian transmission system operator with headquarters in Brussels. The company owns and operates the entire Belgian high voltage electrical power. The company was formed on 28 June 2001 by the merger of CPTE with that subsidiary Electrabel, which was responsible for the high voltage network in the field of 30-380 kV.
