Elias Bazzi

Elías Iván Bazzi (born 23 May 1981 in Villa del Rosario, Córdoba Province ) is a Lebanese- Argentine football player. The full-back played in January 2011 for Universitatea Cluj in Liga 1, the highest Romanian football league.

Career

Bazzi began his career at Boca Juniors in the Argentine Primera División, came there but hardly used. In 2002 he joined Sportivo Italiano in the third-class Primera B Metropolitana. There, too, he could not prevail, and joined in 2004 Godoy Cruz in the Nacional B, the second Argentine league to.

The beginning of 2005 Bazzi left Argentina and moved to the Romanian Divizia A Naţional to Bucharest, where he was able to finish the season in fourth place. In the following season he came in Naţional hardly for the course and moved on to league rivals FC Arges Pitesti. With Piteşti he had in 2007, the transition in the Liga II compete, but managed its chances of promotion. In the following season, although succeeded sporty relegation, the club was doomed to relegation.

In summer 2010, Bazzi moved to Dinamo Bucharest, which he managed to return to the top flight. After he could not prevail at Dinamo, he left the club after half a year and moved on to league rivals Universitatea Cluj.
