The arrangements wrote Frank De Vol, who accompanied Ella Fitzgerald in the recordings with his orchestra. 2002 Verve brought out a CD of this Christmas plate, which was extended by a few more shots. Except mono versions of some songs she had recorded with Frank DeVol, but which were then published on a single, it was the song The Secret of Christmas, she had already recorded on September 3, 1959 Russell Garcia and his Orchestra.
