Felix Bernard

Felix Bernard (born Felix William Bernhardt, born April 28, 1897 in New York City; † October 20, 1944 in Los Angeles, California ) was an American composer, pianist and songwriter, the international inter alia for the song Winter Wonderland became famous for.

Life

Felix William Bernhardt, who was educated in his childhood by his father to play the piano, studied at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He toured the United States as a pianist and later founded his own band and wrote small pieces of music. He worked with, among others, with musicians such as Al Jolson, Nora Bayes, Eddie Cantor, Marilyn Miller and Sophie Tucker.

It is located at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale buried.
