Emperor Kameyama
Kameyama (Japanese亀 山 天皇; * July 9, 1249; † October 4, 1305 ) was the 90th Tenno of Japan (9 January 1259-6 March 1274. ). He was a son of Go- Saga - tennō. His proper name was Tsunehito (恒 仁).
After his Machtenthebung he became a Buddhist monk. He founded the Zen Buddhist temple in Kyoto Nanzenji and spent the rest of his life there.
