Ennetbaden (Swiss German: æn ː ə ˌ pɑ ː də ) is a municipality in the district of Baden in the canton of Aargau. It is located, as the name suggests, opposite the town of Baden on the right bank of the Limmat. Ennetbaden was formerly a part of Baden, but is since 1819 an independent municipality.

Geography

Ennetbaden has on all sides natural limits. The village is located in a one and a half kilometers long, trough-shaped valley of the Limmat between Geissberg ( 586 m above sea level. History
