Erik Sundin

Erik Sundin (* March 1, 1979 in Stockholm) is a Swedish football player. The midfielder, who won with Helsingborgs IF the Svenska Cupen 2010, denied in his career over 200 games in the Swedish Allsvenskan and Superettan professional leagues.

Career

Sundin began in 1985 with the football games when multiple champions AIK. There he went through the various youth teams, however, could not be recommended for the men's team. Therefore, he left the club in 1998 towards Enebybergs IF. With the club he dismounted from the third-tier Division 2 Västra Svealand at the end of the year.

After a year in the fourth division Sundin moved before the second division season 2000 for FC Café Opera in the Superettan. After he was still a reserve player at first and only irregularly was used, he established himself as the 2002 in the middle of the club and scored seven goal a 26 regular season games. Since the club was also farm team AIK, he came parallel there sporadically in cup games and in the reserve team for use. In early 2006, Sundin moved within the Superettan to Assyriska Föreningen, in which he scored six goals in 27 games during the year. With the club, he finished at the end of the 2006 a relegation place and was relegated to third division due to the Auswärtstorregelin after two draws against Bunkeflo IF. Then he moved again to the club and Trelleborg FF joined in Allsvenskan, where he signed a two -year contract. As with his previous station, he established himself at once as a regular player. After expiration of his contract Sundin was out of contract in November 2008. In December Helsingborgs IF announced the commitment of midfielder. In the southern Swedish club he signed a two -year contract with an option for one-year extension. With his new club, he could not permanently established in the starting line- up. In the summer, still a regular player, the 2009/10 drew attention to himself with two goals in qualifying for the Europa League before the club against FK Sarajevo retired, he came on as a substitute in the fall mainly used. In the 2010 season he established himself again in the attack range of clubs and excelled with eight goals this season as a regular goalscorer.
