Erland Johnsen

Erland Johnsen ( born April 5, 1967 in Moss) is a Norwegian football coach and former football player who was active in his home country and in Germany, England and for the Norwegian national team.

Career

Clubs

Emerged from the youth of the residents in his hometown football club FK Moss, Johnsen moved in 1985 into the professional team and played - apart from the season 1986 - to 1988 in the Tippeligaen, the top division in Norwegian football. In his first professional season, he went with his club in the second league from and returned as champions in this division for the season 1987 in the "Upper House " and became Norwegian champion in this. For the season 1988/89 he moved to Germany for Bundesliga club Bayern Munich. In two seasons, he completed 21 league, five UEFA Cup and two games in the European Cup of Champions. His only competitive goal for Bayern he scored on 15 March 1989 in the quarter -final second leg of the UEFA Cup for the 2-0 win in the home match against Heart of Midlothian in Scotland.

In the fall of 1989, Johnsen moved to England for the first division club Chelsea FC, for whom he worked for eight years actively and 1997 won the FA Cup. Shortly thereafter he returned to Norway and completed two successful seasons at Rosenborg Trondheim and last a long season for Strømsgodset Drammen, as the table twelfth and - were relegated after the relegation matches against Start Kristiansand - as a result.
