Eronilde de Araújo

Eronilde de Araújo ( Eronilde Nunes de Araújo, born December 31, 1970 in Bom Jesus da Lapa ) is a former Brazilian hurdler.

In his special discipline, the 400 - meter hurdles, he was the fifth consecutive South American champions ( 1991-1999 ).

At the Pan American Games, he won three gold medals: 1991 in Havana, 1995 in Mar del Plata and 1999 in Winnipeg, where he additionally with the Brazilian 4 x 400 - meter relay team won the silver medal.

At the Olympic Games in Barcelona in 1992 he reached the semi-finals, 1996 in Atlanta and 2000 in Sydney Fifth eighth. At the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo in 1991, he reached the semi-finals, resigned in Stuttgart in 1993 in the run- off in 1995 in Gothenburg eighth and fourth in 1999 in Seville and came in 2001 in Edmonton semi-finals.
