The Estadio Municipal de Riazor is a football stadium in the Spanish city of A Coruña. It is the home stadium of the Primera División - Club Deportivo La Coruña. It holds 34 771 spectators, with 30,000 seats, 4,500 standing and 271 box seats. Situated directly on the Atlantic stadium has a turf heating and floodlights.
History
The stadium was inaugurated on 28 October 1944, the game Deportivo La Coruña against Valencia (2:3). There was an official venue of the FIFA World Cup 1982. Those days it was first completely renovated. The second phase of renovations arose between 1995 and 1998.
