Eudicots
The Eudikotyledonen are a group of angiosperms which comprises a large part of the dicotyledons ( dicots = ). In the scheme of the Angiosperm Phylogeny Group they are not a separate taxon and proportion to the scope of the earlier class essentially three furrows pollen dicots.
Features
The Eudikotyledonen own as the basal orders of angiosperms two cotyledons. With them, however, are missing their essential oils in idioblasts. The organs of the flower are arranged in whorls. The pollen grains have three germinal furrows ( are tricolpate ) or are derived forms.
System
The Eudikotyledonen comprise a majority of angiosperms. Her sister group are the Ceratophyllales.
You yourself are divided into two major groups, the Rosids clade and asteroids, at their base, there are some regulations. Within the Eudikotyledonen are:
The remaining Eudikotyledonen be summarized in the so-called Kerneudikotyledonen.
Kerneudikotyledonen
The Kerneudikotyledonen are characterized largely by fivefold blossoms cases, while the previous orders in this regard are quite variable. You have tricolporate pollen grains and contain ellagic acid.
The Kerneudikotyledonen consist of the following groups:
- Gunnerales
- Dilleniaceae
- Saxifragales
- Rosids clade
- Berberidopsidales
- Santalales
- Caryophyllales
- Asterides
The cladogram of Eudikotyledonen looks like this:
Ranunculales
Sabiaceae
Proteales
Buxales
Trochodendrales
Gunnerales
Rosids clade
Saxifragales
Dilleniaceae
Berberidopsidales
Santalales
Caryophyllales
