The European route 62 is a 1,300 -kilometer-long European road that runs from Nantes in France to Genoa, Italy. It runs through the Loire Valley on the northern Auvergne Limousin by or southern Burgundy in Switzerland. There, the Lake Geneva is umquert and passed the Swiss- Italian border over the Simplon Pass. By western Lombardy and Piedmont Genoa is finally reached in Liguria. Only the section through central France is not expanded as a motorway.
