Eva Logar

Eva Logar (* 8 March 1991 in Ljubljana) is a Slovenian ski jumper.

Career

In 2003, she made ​​her international debut at the competition of the FIS Ladies tour. On January 16, 2005, she launched the first time in ski jumping Continental Cup (COC ). Even at their first competition in Planica they could win 17 COC points with space. At the Junior World Cup in 2006 in Kranj, she was seventh. A year later she jumped in Tarvisio on the 15th Place. In 2008, she could only reach the 19th place in Zakopane. For the 2009/10 season she could finish the summer jumping up to a competition in Lillehammer always in the top ten.

In the Nordic World Ski Championships 2009 Logar reached the 27th place on the normal hill. In the Slovenian ski jumping championships in 2009 in Kranj, she won her first national title before Špela Rogelj and Barbara Klinec.

In the 2009/10 season Logar started successfully. In her first competition in Rovaniemi she missed the podium with fourth place just barely. Also in February in Ljubno she succeeded in this placement. Having never reached in all season jumping rankings outside the top 20 and the season even finished with a podium place in Zakopane, she finished at the end of the fourth place in the Continental Cup overall standings. After they had seen a small drop in performance at the beginning of the summer - Continental Cup, they could jump back into the top 10 as of October 2010. With the third place in Hinterzarten in January she could again win a podium finish before they even reached second place in Ljubno.

In the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships 2011 at the Estonian Otepaeae Logar jumped to seventh place in the individual. After they again reached the podium in Zakopane, they launched on February 25, 2011 at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Oslo in singles and immediately reached the fourth place, thus she missed a medal just barely. The 2010/11 season she finished in third place and could still improve as a place for the previous year.

For the newly Ski Jumping World Cup Ladies they still received the 2011/12 season no starting place and remained in the Continental Cup squad, but also where they did not start. In summer 2012, she jumped successfully with ski jumping Grand Prix and reached here in Courchevel and Hinterzarten the points. In the end they reached the 11th place in the overall standings. Then she got on November 23, 2012 their first start in the World Cup. With the team they reached the seventh place in Lillehammer before the single jumped a day later on the 20th Place and thus also in her first individual World Cup won her first World Cup points. On February 2, 2013, Sapporo she missed with fourth place in the World Cup their first World Cup podium by just one place.

Despite good performances Logar was due to the large power density in the Slovenian team no starting place for the Nordic World Ski Championships 2013 in Val di Fiemme.

In the Slovenian ski jumping championships 2013 on March 5, 2013 Logar took after 2009 in Kranj their second league title before Urša Bogataj and Špela Rogelj.
