Evgeny Korolev

Evgeny Korolev (Russian: Евгений Королёв, scientific transliteration: Evgeny Korolev, born February 14, 1988 in Moscow, Soviet Union ) is a Kazakh tennis player. He is a cousin of former Russian tennis player Anna Kournikova. Korolev playing tennis since he was four years and is currently the Rochus Club Dusseldorf in the tennis Bundesliga active.

Life

Yevgeny Korolev was born in Moscow and began at the age of four years playing tennis with his father. This played ice hockey and is still his coach. Although Korolev never played in the juniors, he won at the age of 15 years, his first ATP points at three Challenger tournaments in Germany. His older brother, Alexey, supports him in business affairs and is also his physical therapist. In addition to Russian, he also speaks German and English, which he already practiced at the age of seven years with a private tutor.

Since 2011 Evgeny Korolev plays for the Kazakhstan Davis Cup team.
