Fábio Alexandre da Silva Coentrao ( born March 11, 1988 in Vila do Conde ) is a Portuguese football player; currently at Real Madrid under contract.
Career
Clubs
Emerged from the youth of Rio Ave FC, Coentrao was already 16 years old to professional team that was represented in the first league. After three seasons - 2005 /06 and 2006/ 07 in the 2nd league - he was obliged to season 2007/ 08 Benfica, one of several top European clubs, including Real Madrid, Manchester United, Chelsea FC, who watch him by Talentsichtern allowed. Disregarded in official matches, he was discharged on lending first to the Madeiran League rivals Nacional Funchal, played until 31 December 2008 for the Spanish second division side Real Zaragoza and from 1 January 2009 (until the end of the season ) for the top-flight climbers Rio Ave.
In the 2009/10 season Coentrao did not come to the Argentine Angel Di Maria, who played, past and was retrained to the second round to the left defender in the left midfield. In July 2011, Coentrao has been committed for 30 million euros for Real Madrid. In the season 2011/12 he shared the position of the left full-back Marcelo and came to a total of 20 league and 33 duty stakes. At the end of the season he won the Spanish Championship with the Royal.
National
Learn by inserts in the U-20 National Team, Coentrao participated in the Junior World Championship in 2007 in part, came three times to insert and difference with the U- 21 team already out in the second round against Chile. On 14 November 2009 he made his debut in the senior national team, which won in Lisbon 1-0 over Bosnia - Herzegovina in the World Cup Relegation - leg.
