Fabrizio Palenzona

Fabrizio Palenzona ( born September 1, 1953 in Novi Ligure ) is an Italian manager, banker and politician, chairman of Gemina SpA, the Italian Association Concessionarie Società Autostrade e Trafori ( AISCAT ) of Aeroporti di Roma ( ADR), the Board of Directors of Mediobanca and Vice Chairman of the banking Group Unicredit.

Biography

Fabrizio Palenzona is married and has two children.

After graduating from law school at the University of Pavia in 1981, he began his career as a member of the Board of Unitra carl and this led in 1987 at Unitra srl. continued.

Today, he is vice chairman of Unicredit, besides, he is Chairman of Gemina, the Associazione Italiana Società Autostrade e Concessionarie Trafori of Aeroporti di Roma, Aviva Italia and the Italian Association of airport operators Assaeroporti. He is also a director of Mediobanca, the Associazione Italiana Bancaria (ABI ) and the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio Alessandria.

Political career

Palenzona was first in the Christian labor movement ACLI and the Christian Democrats (DC) active. From 1985 to 1995 he was mayor of Tortona, the same year he became a member of the Government of the Piedmont Province of Alessandria. After the dissolution of DC, he joined the party La Margherita - with Democrats è Libertà. From 1995 to 2004 he was president of the province of Alessandria.
