Falko Kirsten

Falko Kirsten ( born January 3, 1964 in Dresden ) is a former German figure skater, who started in a single run for the GDR.

His club was the SC Einheit Dresden. From 1983 to 1987 he was the fifth consecutive GDR Champion. From 1981 to 1987 Kirsten participated in six European Championships. His best result here was the fifth place he reached in 1985 and 1987. At World Championships, of which he denied the same period five, he came out not place the Twelve, he took three times (1983, 1985, 1986 ). In his only Olympic Games he was in Sarajevo in 1984 Sixteenth.

Today Kirsten hired as Coordinator of the ice - Saxon Association and as a technical specialist ( judges ) at national and international level.
