Felix Gmür

Felix Gmür ( born June 7, 1966 in Lucerne) is a Swiss theologian and Bishop of Basel.

Life

Gmür studied 1986-1997 philosophy, theology and art history at the universities of Munich, Paris and Fribourg ( Switzerland ). In 1997 he was with the work " aesthetic with Ludwig Wittgenstein: on saying and showing " Dr. phil. doctorate. On 30 May 1999 he was ordained a priest in Lucerne by the Bishop of Basel, Kurt Koch.
