Ferman Akgül

Ferman Akgül ( born December 25, 1979 in Ankara) is a Turkish singer and songwriter of the rock band maNga.

Career

9-10 years of age, Akgül piano learned to play. In 1998, he was to find the first time in the Turkish music industry when he played in the hardcore band Virgin Pulp. At first he played as a DJ in the band, later he became a singer. At this time he studied at the Gazi University. He later played in the band colic, where he played with Özgür Can Öney. This Akgül founded the band 70lik. Then Akgül played at Seven, where Cem Bahtiyar bass guitarist was. He was invited by Özgür Can Öney 2001 to play for maNga. With this band he has already celebrated many national and international success. He was graduated from the Gazi University and his master's degree from Marmara University.

Songwriting

Akgül wrote several songs of the band together with the other musicians in the band. In the second album, he writes the songs alone. For song We Could Be the Same he wrote both the text and the music, and was supported by Evren Özdemir. The topics of the texts are mainly love and grievances within society.
