Filstroff

Filstroff ( German: Filsdorf ) is a commune with 845 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Moselle in the Lorraine region.

Geography

The place is located in the north of Lorraine, five kilometers north of Bouzonville and five kilometers southwest of the Saarland place Niedaltdorf away.

History

The place was known as Filsdorff 1170. Other names were Vilsdroff ( 1179 ) and Fellstroff (1594 ). Since the end of the 18th century used the name Filstroff.
