Fjällräven Center

MODO Hockey ( since 2006)

The Fjällräven Center (formerly Swedbank Arena) is a sports and entertainment arena in Örnsköldsvik, Sweden. The namesake of the arena was the bank Swedbank. It replaces the older Kempe halls as the home of MODO Hockey, a hockey team that plays in the highest Swedish league, the Elitserien. The opening was on 26 August 2006.

Construction of the arena was on 14 September 2004. Arena is located in downtown Örnsköldsvik. The location on the harbor it is surrounded on three sides by water. The stadium also features 48 luxury suites, and other features include a restaurant and six bars. The atrium has a feature called Active Light Field, bringing the colors of the atrium can be changed.

One of the Melodifestivalen semi-final was held in 2007 and 2010 in the arena. In 2008, she hosted the Curling Championship.

In November 2009 it was announced that Fjällräven has acquired the naming rights to the arena. Since 1 January 2010 it is called Fjällräven Center.
