FK Bokelj

The FK Bokelj Kotor is a football club based in the Montenegrin coastal town of Kotor. His fans are called Beštije.

History

FK Bokelj was founded in 1922 in the Montenegrin coastal town of Kotor. At the time of Yugoslavia and later Serbia and Montenegro, the club played like almost all of today's Montenegro always in the second, the former Montenegrin national league, or even third division. While the city was still part of Yugoslavia and Serbia and Montenegro, the club usually played only in the second or third division. The successful season of the club did not begin until 2006, when Montenegro gained its sovereignty. Here you qualified for the second- highest division of the still young country, the Druga Crnogorska league.
