FK Pobeda

The FK Pobeda Prilep is a football club from the Macedonian city of Prilep.

The club was founded in 1941 as Goce Delcev Prilep and renamed in 1950 the present name FK Pobeda Prilep.

Pobeda Prilep in 2004 and 2007 national champion, in 2002 they won the Macedonian Cup competition. In 2005, went to Prilep in the Intertoto Cup against Hamburger SV.

The FK Pobeda Prilep plays its home games at the Goce Delcev Stadium, which holds 20,000 spectators.

A certain international notoriety gained the club because of the manipulation of two games in the Champions League qualifiers 2004/05. The former club president Aleksandar Zabrcanec had deliberately lost in cooperation with the then captain Nikolce Zdraveski the qualifying round against Pjunik Jeriwan for betting manipulation, both were 2009 live long blocked by UEFA and excluded the Pobeda for eight years beginning with the 2009/10 season of international competitions.
