FK Spartak Zlatibor Voda

Spartak Subotica (full official name in Serbian: Фудбалски клуб Спартак Суботица, Fudbalski club Spartak Subotica ) is a Serbian football club from Subotica, who plays in the Super League, the top division of the country.

History

On April 21, 1945, a sports club was in Subotica founded, named after Jovan Mikić Spartak, a leader of the local Yugoslav People's Liberation Army, which in 1944 killed in battle against the fascist occupation of the country by the Axis powers during the Second World War and a national hero of Yugoslavia was appointed. A few months later, the football section of the club wure founded. Spartak Subotica in 1946 was a founding member of the new first Yugoslav football league in his first season and reached the 6th place. Already in the dauraffolgenden season one rose from last but one in the second league, but the club succeeded in season 1948/49, in third place, the immediate resurgence. There Spartak could hold a season, but in 1951 again second-rate. The club then managed the re- direct re- ascent. In the first league this time could hold up 1958. Then Spartak spent the next years in the second league.

1962, the club reached the Yugoslav Cup final, which they lost 1:4 against OFK Belgrade for the first time. In the 1971/72 season Spartak won Group B of the 2nd league and was thus again top notch, but increased in the following season again. 1986 could reach the elite masters of the West Division again. Prior to 1980, the club missed unds 1982 as runner-up almost the first league. This time you could keep only one season in the first league, but Spartak was wiedermal immediately and champion got back up.

This time the club was first class until 1995. A year earlier, he reached for the second time, the national cup final, but failed clearly to Partizan. After descending again tried and failed to Wierderaufstieg and they played to 2000 in the first league. In the 2007 /08 season there was a merger with the FK Zlatibor Voda. In the same season Spartak managed to return in the highest league. Previously was the descent to the third league. In his first season of the newly formed Serbian Superliga 2009/2010 managed the club 4th place and for the first time to qualify for the UEFA Europa League. In the UEFA Europa League 2010/11, he failed in the 3rd round of the Ukrainian Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk representatives. In the 2010/2011 season the club narrowly missed the re- qualification for Europa League. In the 2013/14 season the semi-finals of the Serbian Football Cup was achieved after a 2-0 win over the reigning champions Partizan. To the catchment he plays the final against Vojvodina Novi Sad.

Women's Soccer

The women's football department plays under the name Central Federal District Spartak Subotica and fetched since its founding in 1970 once the Yugoslav Championship ( 1975 ŽFK Železničar Subotica ), and twice the Serbian championship in 2011 and 2012. During the season 2011/12, the women with the Serbian Cup could the double secure.
