Florine de Leymarie
Florine de Leymarie (born 9 May 1981 in Moutiers ) is a French former alpine skier. In their specialist discipline, the slalom, she reached four top - 10 finishes in the World Cup and two top -15 results at World Championships and Olympic Games.
Biography
Their first use in a FIS race had de Leymarie in December 1996, in February 2000, she went for the first time in the European Cup. 2002 and 2004 they could ever win a European Cup slalom. On 22 December 2002, she took on the Lenzerheide for the first time at a World Cup race in part. Her first World Cup points they won on 8 March 2003 as the 27th of the slalom in Åre.
Her best World Cup result reached de Leymarie on 28 November 2004, when they surprisingly reached the fourth place in the slalom in Aspen. Only the day before she was first run as 19 in the first Aspen slalom into the top 20. As a result, it achieved results regularly in the top 20, but reached only in season 2006/ 07 more top 10 results. With five other French ski racers it was on 16 March 2007 in Lenzerheide third in the team competition.
Florine de Leymarie twice took part in slalom at world championships and again at the Olympic Winter Games. At the 2005 World Championships in Santa Caterina, she was 15 and 22 at the 2007 World Championships in Åre in slalom and also fifth in the team competition. The slalom of the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, finished in eleventh position. Since de Leymaries results deteriorated in the 2008 /09 season and they were able to qualify for a second round, only rarely, she was not nominated for the 2009 World Cup and lost after the season, the squad affiliation in French dressing. After they had participated only in some European Cup and FIS races next winter, finished de Leymarie 2010 her career.
