Francesco Castellacci

Francesco Castellacci ( born April 4, 1987 in Rome ) is an Italian race car driver. It was in 2011, together with Federico Leo FIA GT3 European Championship. In 2012 he starts in the FIA ​​GT1 World Championship.

Career

Castellacci began his motorsport career in 2006 in Formula racing. He raced in the Formula Azzurra and was eighth in the drivers' standings. In 2007 he stood for Alan Docking Racing in the British Formula 3 Championship. He had no points and reached the Top 20 only twice in 2008 moved to Castellacci Lucidi Motors in the Italian Formula 3 Championship. While his teammate Mirko Bortolotti won the championship, Castellacci stood on the podium six times. He remained winless. In the Drivers' Championship, he finished fourth. In 2009, he went for the Prema Powerteam in the Italian Formula 3 at the start.
