Francesco de Angelis (yachtsman)

Francesco de Angelis ( born September 11, 1960 in Naples ) is an Italian sailor. He won the first Italian skipper in the Louis Vuitton Cup, the qualifying event for the America 's Cup 1999/2000 with the yacht Luna Rossa (ITA 45 ) for the yacht syndicate Prada Challenge.

In 2003 he stood for Luna Rossa in the semifinals of the America 's Cup and was defeated in this 31 Cup Team OneWorld 2:3.
