François Bouchard

François Bouchard ( born April 26, 1988 in Sherbrooke, Quebec ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is since November 2011 with the New York Rangers of the National Hockey League under contract on their farm team, the Connecticut Whale, playing in the American Hockey League. His older brother, Pierre -Marc Bouchard and his cousin Pierre -Alexandre Parenteau are also professional hockey players.

Career

The 1.83 m wide winger first played at the Drakkar de Baie -Comeau in Canada's top junior league QMJHL, where he was top scorer of the league in the 2006/07 season with 125 points and was awarded the Trophée Jean Béliveau associated. NHL Entry Draft 2006 links Sagittarius had been previously selected as 35 in the second round by the Washington Capitals. These appointed him earlier in the season 2008/ 09 for the first time in their NHL squad after Bouchard had previously gained some experience in Farm Team Hershey Bears in the American Hockey League. The attacker was Without having attended a game in the NHL, however, sent a few weeks back in the AHL.

8 November 2011 it transferred the Washington Capitals for Tomas Kundrátek to the New York Rangers.
