Frank McDonald, Frank MacDonald and Bill Raynor ( born November 9, 1899 in Baltimore, Maryland, USA, † March 8, 1980 in Oxnard, California ) was an American film and television director, actor and cinematographer.

Life

Frank McDonald, was in the years prior to his arrival in Hollywood, a railway worker. Then he worked as a writer and worked on the theater stage as an actor and director. In 1933 he began as a dialogue director for Warner Bros. and got two years later the opportunity as a director to direct a film. He then went to Monogram Pictures, which was later acquired by Allied Artists, where he worked on B-movies in the category Western, action and war films until his retirement in 1965.
