Franz Graßl

Franz Grassl ( born March 7, 1965 in Berchtesgaden ) is a German climber and alpine athletes.

He is a member of the DAV Berchtesgaden and was until 2006 a member of the German national ski mountaineering. In this context, he took several times in international competitions, including the European Cup, the World Cup, the European and World Championships in ski mountaineering. Grassl's wife, Judith, with whom he has two children, is also successful in the German national ski mountaineering ski mountaineer. They live in Ramsau bei Berchtesgaden. Grassl is an active member of the Mountain Rescue Service.

  • 2003: 2nd Place German Championship Ski Mountaineering Single
  • 2004: German Champion in ski mountaineering
  • 2nd place of the lords over the long haul the German Skitourencup
  • 5th place at Mountain Attack Tour Men, Saalbach
  • 2005: 3rd place in the men's relay team (along with Steurer, Klinger, Nickaes ), European Championship in Andorra
  • 9th place at the European Championship team race with Steurer
  • 10th place at the Trofeo Mezzalama with Wolfgang Panzer and Martin Echtler
  • 2006: 1st place at the German Skitourencup on Hochgrat (see also: Hochgrat Skirallye )
  • 5th Place World Championship relay race (together with Steurer, Echtler, Nickaes )
  • 2008: 1st Place German Championship Ski Mountaineering single
  • 7th place Patrouille des Glaciers (together with Klinger and Steurer )
