Frederick Elmes

Frederick Elmes (also known as Fred Elmes or Fredrick Elmes; * November 4, 1946 in Mountain Lakes, New Jersey) is an American cinematographer.

Life

Frederick Elmes studied photography at the Rochester Institute of Technology and completed his film studies at the American Film Institute (AFI ) 1972. Subsequently, he studied at New York University. During his time at AFI, he met in 1971 David Lynch know, for he as a cameraman for the movies Eraserhead, Blue Velvet and Wild at Heart - turned the story of Sailor and Lula.
