Fritz Kalkbrenner
Fritz Kalkbrenner ( born 1981 in Berlin ) is a German music producer and singer. He is the younger brother of musician and producer Paul Kalkbrenner techno music, with whom he produced the hit Sky and Sand. In his solo projects, he combines techno beats with melodic elements, such as guitar samples, and his distinctive voice as well as self-written lyrics.
Life
Fritz Kalkbrenner was born in 1981 as the son of the journalist Jorn and Carla Kalkbrenner in Berlin.
Since 2002 he works as a music and culture journalist for various television channels, including MDR, MTV and the German wave.
In 2003, he sang as a guest singer on the first album Brave by Sascha Funke, with whom he has been friends since his youth. This was followed by recordings with Zky, Alexander Kowalski and Monika Kruse. In 2008, he co-produced with his brother the soundtrack of the movie Berlin Calling in which Paul Kalkbrenner participated as an actor. Kalkbrenner's first album Here Today Gone Tomorrow was published in 2010 on the label Suol. On October 19, 2012 he released his second album Sick Travellin ', also on the label Suol. On February 15, 2013, the same Live tour began at the Arena Vienna.
